Jake's little, yet bigger brother!
Luke is Jake's younger brother, he was born full term on the 3rd of October 2008, by elective c-section, and was healthy. Luke birth was a very strange experience to take in at first, as there was no mass medical team or any medical equipment in sight. Shortly after birth, Luke was taken over to be cleaned by a midwife, and was then calmly placed in my arms, while the doctors finished up with Vicki, this is where Luke gave me the biggest smile, as he lay there getting his first hug from his daddy.
Luke weighed in at 3.24Kg/7lb 2oz, a real heavy weight compared to his brother's 420g/14oz
The picture below really does show just how small Jake actually is. At the time of the photo Jake is 3 years 5 months and Luke is around 8 and a half months. Both boys weigh around 20lb's with Luke taking the lead at the last weigh in. Jake is still taller at this point, although not but much (a few inches at best). The main noticeable difference is the size of the boys heads, Jakes is sat at the back of the photo with Luke on his knee, but even taking positioning into account you can clearly se that Luke is far bigger.
